Our passion is to bring "life in abundance" to the next
generation of Uganda through vocational training, counseling
and spiritual renewal through the Gospel and discipleship.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that
they may have life and have it abundantly. John 10:10 (ESV)
Our mission
Our Story
Jonathan & Immaculate Kamyuka | Executive Directors
"Our story is one of faith over fear and hope over despair."
What We Do
VOCATIONal training
We provide vocational training for men and women in various areas to attack generational poverty, lack of education due to dropout rates, and provide employable skills and opportunities for those living in the slums of Uganda.
COUNSELING
Healing from the past is a key component for each student to step into the hope and future God has for them. Life House provides one-on-one counseling to rescue them from the scars and pains of their past and set them on a path of recovery.

DISCIPLESHIP
We encourage and disciple each student in order to provide a Biblical foundation of healing, growth and maturity as they step into the next phase of opportunity they are provided through their vocational training.
Vocations
Life House teaches students across eight different occupational areas, offering trades for the men and women to build vocational skills, receive counseling, hear the Gospel and be discipled.
our impact
Where We Work
From Skills to Sustainable Futures
At the completion of the Life House vocational training program, students undertake an internal, competency-based assessment administered by Life House to determine their readiness for the job market and are issued a certificate if they successfully meet the competency standards. In addition, students who qualify and have the resources to cover the cost can take the national assessment administered by the Uganda Vocational and Technical Assessment Board (UVTAB), leading to a nationally recognized certification. For just $60 a month, you can personally be a part of the pathway to “life in abundance” for a student and contribute to breaking the cycle of poverty!
